The are a very few nomadic people left in the world. Mongolian nomads follow their livestock all round a year through four seasons. The livestock consists of horse, cow, sheep, goat and camel. But the most families have horse, cow, sheep and goat because camels live in the Gobi.
With this tour you will experience how the day starts early in the morning and how the day is spent until the evening and what is the most thing in their lives by becoming a family member of the people who lived all their lives in the countryside . You will see how the nature, livestock and the environment they are living in are important to them.
The most importantly you will become friends with these people.

Location: Orkhon Valley is located in Central Mongolia in territory of Uvurkhangai and Arkhangai province. It was inscribed by UNESCO in the World Heritage List as representing evolution of nomadic pastoral traditions spanning more than two millennia in 2004. Uvurkhangai province includes the site of the ancient capital city of Chinggis Khan – Kharkhorin – the capital city of what was the largest Land Empire the World had ever known, either before or since.

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar

Arrival in Mongolia
Pick up at the airport
Transfer to hotel
Sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar city, the capital of Mongolia

Day 2: Ulaanbaatar – Orkhon Valley

The tour starts by travelling to UNESCO World Heritage Center Orkhon Valley. There you will meet nomad families that you are going to live with.

Day 3 – Day 12: Living with nomad family

Activities include: Milking cow and yak, preparing Mongolia traditional dairy products, making distilled milk vodka, herding sheep, shopping for grocery, playing Mongolian traditional games, riding a horse, preparing dinner with the hostess etc.

Day 13: Nomad family – Ulaanbaatar

Coming back to Ulaanbaatar
Go shopping in UB for souvenirs
In the evening we will have farewell dinner with Mongolia-Travel team while we discuss about our tour and exchange thoughts and ideas.
Spend night in hotel.

Day 14: Departure

Last day of your trip.
Transfer to airport
